This program provides you with an effective way to establishing the foundation to communicate, giving a common language to base your day-to-day interaction with your pet. This foundation minimizes confusion for you and your pet. The leash is an umbilical cord connecting you and your dog Leash training is important in establishing you as a point of reference. The leash helps in:

1. Guiding
2. Correcting
3. Keeping Control

More importantly, the leash provides us with the means of shaping behavior. This is the foundation for communication, establishing a common language.

Boarding/training: where your pet is taken in as a guest.
This is a favorite with owners/families who simply do not have the time due to busy schedules or would rather have a professional train their pet. We take pride in being chosen as your pet’s second home. Your pet will have the daily contact as if he/she were at home with you. We utilize the crate for timeout/resting. There are fenced in areas for exercising as well as free running areas on our 21 acre farm. Your pet’s stay here with us will not be like one at a conventional kennel. We limit our attention to six in-house/training dogs. Our methods of training are based on the individual’s temperament and ability.

Your pet’s stay with us will be two weeks for training. Once the training has been completed, we then take the time to educate you. These four follow-up visits are at your convenience and you will learn:

1. How to command your dog
2. How to work with your dog
3. Instruction on how to insure your pet’s response to you and your family

The Basic Obedience Program consists of these commands: “sit”, “down”, “heel”and “come” as well as basic mannerisms such as no pulling, no jumping, no chewing, etc. WE do not use “stay” for holding a command. The sit or down is to be held until your pet is released.

As with all in-house training, four private lessons are included with a trainer. Your pet will be our guest for two weeks, this package is $1000.00.

Private Lessons Basic Obedience Program: one on one instruction for those who choose to train their pets with us.
This includes 8 lessons for $600.00 or $85.00 per lesson. These are private lessons with a trainer-not group lessons!
